A rental bike is only one part of a great bike tour. Another part is the necessary safety equipment.
A helmet on your head, and those who want to explore flow trails need additional knee pads and elbow pads. Tool, a pump, an extra inner tube need to be in your backpack, such as enough to drink and something to eat. If you plan an extended biking tour, technical clothing is also very important.
